After just reading your comment and watching this video an amazing thing just happened to me! I had a 🧠 aneurysm rupture during April 2016 and i have forgotten a lot of things however sometimes I get the forgotten things back when a point blank reminder comes my way! To make a long story longer at first I thought this video was my original recording! Lmao! It's not of course but that said it reminded me that I posted Jerry doing Black Gives Way To Blue at the Moore Theater during 2009, as a matter of fact I totally forgot that I had/have a utube channel that's my my name! So thank you for leading me back to some of my memories! ✌️💜🎶~206 So here's the link to my recording! ENJOY! ----> kzbin.info/www/bejne/h4W6YWCGjLyhh7ssi=GVFdndK9v5f78uwK

Watching your grandpa tonight was just fabulous. Ray was dressed so sharply and was charming. He made such good conversation. I watch all the great old Carson "Tonight" shows, and this is one of his most enjoyable. Your grandpa was so down to earth and fun to hear. I am Carole Lynn Steiner [email protected] www.cls.us

Checkin' out some old Tonight Shows when I found this. Holy smokes! I was 25 back then, but I remember when this aired all those years ago. I still remember the woman and the baby story he told because it made me laugh out loud. Good on Ray, may he rest in peace, and good on you too; thank you for sharing!

Essential job is right! Hate how classist our U.S. society is and how most people want to assume that blue collar folks don't have much going on in their lives or thoughts. They are as multidimensional as anyone else in our constructs of social hierarchy. This guy is sweet, funny, endearing, and has great stories. Good show!

People think blue collar workers are dumb. In my experience the exact opposite is true.

Carson was a class act!!! You would never see anything like that now, and if you did did it would be purely for comic ridicule. Love this segment and Ray did an awesome job.

I would be scared to pull it out what if they prematurely seperate the placenta from the uterine wall by pulling the puppy out mama could bleed to death...
@maycoats49019 жыл бұрын
Don't pull the puppy out, the mum will manage herself, your risking the life of the puppy.

@Joseph Planta - Sorry I didn't see your comment. He worked until about 1991/1992. He ended up getting injured on the job and had to retire shortly after that. He thought meeting Johnny Carson was a "kick in the pants". He and my Grandma went to Washington DC and were treated pretty well for the recognition, they traveled for him to receive some awards and was on some local radio, in the local newspaper, and Johnny was just the cherry on top! He was our local celebrity! Once in a lifetime opportunity and even though he didn't like flying, I'm glad he did it!

Even so, I still feel pretty bad for him that he wasn't able to get any puzzles on the show. If what happened to him were to happen to me, it's something I wouldn't be able to live with. Despite it all, I hope he's doing well.
@germanname199012 жыл бұрын
Although I have watched him get shut out miserably on the show after Caitlyn Burke's one letter solve, at least he still got one puzzle during the audition process against not two but three other contestants.

@gkpinkable - thanks! she had 3 healthy chihuahua puppies

@burningmoonpw - I appreciate your personal opinion, we did get her spayed, and her babies spayed & neutered - but we wanted to have 1 litter of puppies prior to her getting spayed.
@andrachel13 жыл бұрын
@BeHappyBreyer - It's best to not breed at that age. She's a bit old. It would be like a 40-50 year old human getting pregnant. Her fertility is down and her body is old.
@andrachel13 жыл бұрын
@karenctran - yeah, we assisted because she was having problems getting it out (kind of hard to tell with no sound, but I was FREAKING out and thought I'd have to take her to the VET. Also, the sac was broken that protects the pup, when this is broken, you only have so long to make sure the pup is breathing (and the Mom has to clean it's face for it to do so) or it will die.
@andrachel13 жыл бұрын
@Soraya23Panama - Thank you! The Dam (Momma dog) was actually concerned about where we all were for the birth and wanted us by her side. She would get a worried look on her face when we would walk out of the room. She knows we love her and would be there for her when she needed us. We wore gloves to not put human scent/oils on the babies though as we didn't want to interfere with nature if we could avoid it. She birthed 2 more pups after this one & they're all healthy & so is Mom!
@andrachel13 жыл бұрын
@lovelymonnette - what red thing? can you reference to the time in the video? (i.e. 1:43)
@andrachel13 жыл бұрын
@tannerkisser - the other 2 came out just fine, no assistance necessary. she popped them both out FAST! This was a 4 1/2 min video clip, it didn't include all her labor and contractions leading up to full dilation
@andrachel13 жыл бұрын
You'll also need a Dog Whelping Box - I got a big cardboard box & cut the top off. I picked Momma up from the box for potty use as she really didn't have a lot of energy, & she didn't want to leave her pups often. As far as the towels go, I went with used towels/blankets I didn't care about. I got disposable pee pads for easy/quick changing during birth, but they want comfy stuff for after, and some poo/puke/etc will get on them. Hope this helps!
@andrachel13 жыл бұрын
@juanitarea - Dog Whelping Equipment: Towels, Paper towels, Disinfectant, Scissors, Hemostat (or Dental floss, but Hemostat is preferred), Disposable gloves, Extra newspapers, Telephone, Food that's quick to make for yourself. Vet's phone# in case of trouble - make sure you have a 24 hour vet #, & maybe a few backups.
