Hey! New player here. I've been practicing with the base ST04 starter deck as it sits to get the feel of the game. I really like it. Do you have a deck list somewhere for what you would add/substitute to make it better? I plan to start playing locally once I get the deck optimized. Is it possible to send me your purple Kaido deck list, or just some additions to make the starter deck better with the current sets that are out? Thanks a ton!

Thanks for liking the deck profile, but I can't take credit for it, since I mostly just copied Gum-Gum TCGs list. Also, if you're talking about winning 3 out of 4 locals, I'd say that's more than solid!

How do you counter this deck someone at my lgs runs it and he's undefeated with it what decks counter it?

I would guess that red decks like Zoro would counter it, also maybe Kaido if you can get Onigashima and swing wide enough. New Sabo should be good too if you get a really good hand.

I really like the deck! But I have a question: why the sphinx card? it is not a jailer beast, so you can't play it of sadi - or is it because you wanted to fill the deck with vanilla cheap cards for this budget?

Purple Kaido is way strong an in my opinion more fun in this meta. Blurple just loses really hard into all the meta :/

ive been playing with ur deck list alot. I dont end up using black bug and the reiju at all. Black bug is just always a dead card at hand and i never get to use reijuu effect. I took them out and added in a 10c luffy, 1 5c kid, another jet gattling and 2 sheeps horn. Im trying out this list see if it fares better

Sheep's Horn is more of a dead card, Black Bug is almost never dead if you know how to use it. And Reiju is too strong to take out, I've hit Reiju into Reiju and have turned games around in my favor. Run what you want in the end.

Basically this decklist with an Ulti-Page One package is what I run. Instead of Kalifa, run Kamazo, and instead of Miss Doublefinger, run Ulti. Then I took out the Zephyrs, a Zoro, and a Law to put in three Page Ones and a Black Bug. That's the way I'd run the list in EB-01.

I think the 3c Luffy is actually very necessary in the deck, the fact that he is a searchable 2k is amazing and shouldn't be taken lightly. Also, the fact that you can put him down, put 2 DON on him, and put him in your life is actually so good in some games.
