I just commented on your IG. Looking to do the Berylium Valve Seat upgrade/Dimpling & Inconnel valves, double springs, new guides whatever else you recommend to 2005 Aston Martin DB9 cylinder heads (the Cosworth/Coscast Block from the early models. How much & do you ship to the US?

So what is the purpose of removing the quench pads? Does detonation increase or does it not change anything besides combustion chamber size
What was the density of the air on each configuration flow is not the only factor to look at

Great video but I don't understand the values. Could you please briefly summarise which surface has which value?

You should hog out the old cylinders first with a tool then send in the boring tools to spec.

preferential dimpling would be the best. You can tune velocities in specific areas with that technique
@nagyandras885710 ай бұрын
Now come on... the valve guides are waaay too long , they hang into the port waaay too mutch. Dimples allso not gona work. I know supposedly , supposedly it should allow for more flow. But it ain't gona.

Respect for the job that you’ve done. I know it’s a lot to ask, but I would still like to ask if you would be up to share a 3d model of mashing so I could do the same job on my head. I’m of course ready to generously contribute.:)

I know nothing about CNC.. Why dont they use some type of cutting oil? Seems like, if nothing else, it would extend the life of the tool.
@FiteTheGoodFight11 ай бұрын
Even IF the dimpled ports flowed slightly less, they would still make more power because of better atomization of the fuel mixture.

Unfortunately, no offense that was the most useless video on cfm, dimpling lift,, etc. especially for people that want to understand. Not a single word, single spec, before and after.

@YouCantSawSawdust Жыл бұрын
Just give it forced induction. Turbocharging or supercharging. Then all this flow bench nonsense becomes obsolete on redundant.
@andredesousa9611 ай бұрын
As much as I love N/A and optimizing them, I admit your point is super valid. This chase for CFM does become obsolete once you throw forced induction in to the equation.
