Great round tonight. Only place I played that table before was @ Veggas in Riverwest.

Bally surely didn't care about French Copy Right infringement back then. Take 75% of Medusa, add the Game ROM of Xenon et voilà: Valkyrie was born! Thanks for the informative video 👌 BTW, some of the lines he says are: "...et c'est repartie" - ...and there you go again! "Bravo, tu l'as eue" - Well done, you got it! "Et voilà, c'est fini! Attention à la lotterie! C'est perdu/gagné - au revoir" - There you go, it's over! Watch out for the Match! It's a loss/win - goodbye!

I played this game last weekend. Pretty fun game, better than Oktoberfest or Houdini for sure. It felt more like a '90s vibe than a "modern" machine which I say as a compliment. My high score was around 150M but I am not sure how, I think on that try I focused on collecting weapons and the other stuff happened in the meantime. Got to Valhalla but didn't beat Odin. Is there a consensus on "the" tournament strategy?

What do you use to clean the outside of the cabinets? The stencil paint areas. Thanks
@DavesArcadeАй бұрын
Krud Kutter or Purple power will get the nicotine stains off. I’ve never had any problems with painted art (American made games) Spanish and Italian games have very detailed screen printed art that will wipe off with these cleaners. You can only clean the base paint color.

Why is the bottom end or back end of the cabinet made out of particleboard and the other sides are made out of plywood? I have a small chunk of particleboard that I need to replace on the back of my machine too. Most of it will be covered by the leg, but I was surprised to see that it was particleboard.

I suspect partial board was used on the back for cost savings. Not all manufacturers did it.

Hello Dave, very nice video. All illustrations for this pinball were made by my father, Blas Gallego back in the 80s. The company Playmatic asked my father if they could use some of his already existing illustrations and he agreed. This pinball machine was created and produced in our city Barcelona (Catalonia Spain) by that company (Playmatic) which no longer exists, and it surprises me that you own one in the US because this machine is european (spanish) with not so many units created. I'm a fan of pinballs, I own 6 of them (Batman, Popeye, Frankenstein, etc ) but I've been searching for this pinball for years because it has a special place in my heart due to my father fantasy illustrations. What did you mean that this one is a prototype version? As far as I know there was only one version. Thank you

That’s awesome your dad did the artwork! This is definitely a title very few have seen or will ever have the chance to play. That’s why I think it’s important to capture video when I get the chance. Many thanks to your father for bringing this cool pinball to the world.

Fiberglass v bondo? If bondo is thicker, then less chance of leaking under the dams?
@LexCinnabonАй бұрын
Bondo would be too thick for gravity alone to flow it. Bondo applications require pressure and an applicator tool to apply properly. (It's more clay like than liquid)

Nico to see, I bought a Target Alpha earlier this year, because I like the art of the backglass. But the playfield also looks very good and the lay out is also great. A very nice machine, that indeed almost plays ike a solid state machine.

Hi, this was super cool to watch! Would you happen to still have the STL file for the lava lamp base? I would love to print this!
@DavesArcade10 ай бұрын
I do, but this was a failed experiment. ABS was not heat resistant enough. I even tried lining the inside with aluminum foil to help keep the heat away from the plastic.

I bought Krylon triple thick maybe a couple or more years back. Something told me not to use it. I later found the best pinball backglass sealer and it's called Markseal. My KISS back glass started to bubble around the top of the KISS logo.... I put this on and its permanently sealed and UV protected!!. Now i have a full unused can of Krylo triple thick 😂
