didnt work for me, also tried removing battery and using AC power turning on still no luck, any other ideas, have a new phone just want to remove pictures etc.. of this device.

Hey, what happens if the little silver metal square that is located to the right side of the top connector of the antenna falls off?? It is not the antenna connector but it is j Hus st on the right side of it. On the edge of the board. On the top right side ontop of the battery. Ontop and to the right of the black circle that's ontop rightvof the battery. Right where you connect the antenna but to the right of it.

I had to charge my battery like you show in the video. It worked better and faster with a 2.4A charger. I had started with a Samsung 1A, but I got tired of it. Anyway, my phone had failed to charge because the USB port seems to have messed up. But in order to send data to another phone, Samsung SmartSwitch demands at least 20% charge, so I had to manually charge it with the cover off. Stupid phones, stupid software. Great video.

Hi MST, Thanks a lot for your video. I followed every step but it didn't work. I also replaced the flex cable and the charger board with no luck. I have a question about the tape/sticker that you are holding at 11:09. Unfortunately, I cut that in half when I was opening the back panel. Can it cause the problem not resolving after doing the steps? And how to replace it if it's important. Thanks a lot.

Try pressing on these connectors while changing, see if start charging, also it could your battery goes under 3.3v , if that happens the phone can't start charging, also it could be related to charging ic problem !

@mstphone Finally, I did the trick, the phone switches to fast charging, but the battery doesn't want to charge any more... T_T So I ordered a new third-party battery on Amazon (impossible to find an original battery unfortunately), I installed it, it's at 9%. I plugged in the charger, it went from 9% to 1% in 2 minutes and the phone switched off, so I couldn't charge it any more... I'm at the end of my life haha ^^'. I'm going to have to think about buying a new phone, rip!
