Gamecube is little difficult to play because you have to look at a certain way to throw pikmin but on wii and switch its simple to aim the pointer where you are going to throw the pikmin

there really is so much dialogue in pikmin 4. not to mention side quests, currency, npcs. trying to speed through it makes it that much more obvious how the “stranded in the wild” setting clashes with the new direction. of course, it’s still a great game. just an observation.

This run got seriously dicey near the end. The second snitchbug constantly hounding you was so annoying, but the decision to ignore it was definitely the optimal play. And then that yellow just deciding it didn't want to live anymore in Final Trial? And the Emperor Bulblax fight with all of its complications? Wow.

water wraith spawns after 5 mins. the floor was completed in under 5 mins.

if you bitter a boss they take less damage so i needed to wait until he was at low health and had a lot of pikmin on it (cycle 1 and 2 i messed up)

thanks! i would recommend joining the speedrunning discord (which can be found on speedrun.com for any pikmin game) and learning whatever run feels best to you. all the pikmin speedruns are very different to each other so run whatever you prefer

@@sbudiver_ Ocarina of Time 1.2 on NSO is the same game as Ocarime of Time 1.0 on N64. Several glitches are patched, the controls are worse, and the loads are slower. They're the same game; it's not WR, by an hour. Still an interesting run to see.

Also small building tip for future levels, at 0:11 put hidden blocks directly above the mole, otherwise you can get into the dry shell directly without holding run

@@sbudiver_ just small things happen that affect things. A lot of leaf affect damage output and speed. Bugbears waking up and removing carriers, that sort of thing
