If there is a turnover of possession, do the blue and red teams transition to defensive and offensive play respectively, or is the play halted and replayed with the assigned teams restarting play?

If the other team win the ball they now have to try and play to the servers and then can attack by going wide first and then looking to score, everytime the play turns over the new team in possession must go to the target players first, this keeps the practice rolling and doesnt stop the play which the players wont like, hope that helps :)

Thanks for your advise. What I've been looking for as a varsity coach is a step by step way to organize and train a team such as a HS team made up of anywhere from club to rec to walk ons from the student body. For ex. after preseason conditioning start with defense training for the first week, then move to offense, then break up offense into midfield and forward attacking unit training, etc. Just flat out plans and sequence from different coaches. There is nothing out here like that.

What age groups do you consider as being 'younger players'?
@totalsportscoaching
@totalsportscoaching 9 ай бұрын
I would say this is primary school aged children, once they reach teenage years you can start to look for more fun ways to build strength as part of your programmes.

Apologies Neil, thought we had replied. This is what we call a master square. We had 6 groups working on the same topic across the pitch. They work for 6 minutes then come into the middle square for a demo, then go back to their own groups and carry on the practice in smaller numbers so they get more repetition.
