i still remember my childhood and growing up under my father was a hell, i suffered abuse, beating, on many occasions i was badly injured and bleeding due to my father altercation, some how i stayed with my family until i finish my studies and left my home for a job in other city, till now i dont like my father and every conversation leads to altercation and i somehow survived the trauma and when i look back, its not easy journey, To all those suffer from toxic parents, be strong and have a hope!

who in the fuck wrote this - as an abuse survivor i can tell yall this really isnt how abuse is and living through it isnt like uwu i wanna jump off a bridge oh looksie someone sent my daddy to rehap ahaha oops. its more like waking up and wishing you were dead, hating every aspect of yourself, hating who you are, hating your parents. theres no fucking happy ending to abuse, theres no oh my god i forgive you uwu we're gonna live happily ever after. theres only pain and a long way to recovery for the child and the parents rarely ever get help. its bullshit getting help isnt like that. you report physical abuse to that extent then the dad gets arrested and the child gets put into care. if you report emotional abuse - just as psychologically damaging, they do absolutely fucking nothing. the kid would be fucking unhappy in care anyway bc its a shithole. if you dont report it then it tears you apart every fucking day. like what the fuck is this fairytale happy ending its bullshit.

You never ask a victim to forgive you. It's not about you, it's about the victim always and religion plays no part other than causing more pain. People think the victim needs to forgive, but they don't. That's not their responsibility. It's the offender who needs to do all the work.
