Well, it is my distinct pleasure to be the very first person to comment on this. I do not think that words can do this justice. I'll try however. It was beautiful. It was magnificent. It was awesome. Bravo to both of you! It was perfection. I am recovering from some throat problems, one being a paralyzed vocal chord. This happened about two years ago. I've since had an injection in that area followed by a couple vocal therapy sessions. I'm almost there now. The past couple of days I thought about singing this very hymn in a solo that I was scheduled to do in 2019 before my throat was first assaulted by an inflamed uvula and that paralyzed vocal cord.I sang it several years ago and afterwards I returned to my pew. A friend sitting in front of us had tears in her eyes. She said she was moved by it. It is a beautiful and simple hymn. Tonight I heard it and I too was moved.
