fun fact. americans sit on the left side and drive on the right side because back in the day they would ride teams of horses, sit on the back left horse and whip the shit out of the other horses with their right hand and/or fire their guns at bandits. once cars were invented they got used to sitting on the left side and driving on the right side in order to better see oncoming traffic and avoid collisions (and/or fire their guns at bandits :))
