I never saw Ron have a bad show in any of the bands he has been in. The guy is a true entertainer and 1 of the best voices ever.

Ron u have and always will be great and trult underrated. I have loved everything u have fine since Bittersweet, Stiff, Lillian Axe, the Bridge, now lowlife. I still remember the 1st time I met u Valparaiso Indiana a tiny little bar but waa blown away by qhat a aaw and heard in bittersweet that night. Then after the show I told u hiw great I thought u and the band was and u being the gentleman u r u went and copied me u whole intenerary 4 u tour around there. This began the journey of watching u grow , different bands and band members but u never lost that beautiful voice, stage performance, smile that could light the world. Not to mention just a great person. I do miss all the good times we all had throuhout the years. Still live u Ron one of the best people ever.

I know the styles change but honestly I loved the 80s rock look better but the songs still stand the test of time. Guarantee with these showing up on Utube it is gaining new fans of the group. Ron Taylor one of the best vocals ever and great stage performance. Their live shows were the best. RIP Jon. Still love u Ron and the person u are.

I am so curious how much you paid JK for an authorized copy of my VHS recording made at Fletchers in Springfield, Missouri of the Lillian Axe and naked zoo shows from 1989

A great band indeed. But not underrated. They're music videos were corny, their lyrical content is consistency on themes of "innocence", and they were turning more and more power ballad band supported by musical compositions that smacked of a watered down Randy Rhoads. At the time noise rock was blowing up, renamed "grunge" by the record labels, with bands like Metallica and Pantera ruling over everything. Steve's guitar tone was becoming more and more thinner while the trends set by the fans was they wanted heavier guitar tone. Then the ultimate act of submissive defeat that came from this band. Once Pearl Jam and Bush blew up, they all started dressing like they were from Seattle. From poor management, to hacky goofy music videos and album cover art, to a weaker and weaker guitar tone, and a lyric content few people could relate too, I'm surprised they got as far as they did ... a testament to the fact that they really were great musicians, just not right for that time period. Had they kept it more like "Letters In the Rain", "Fools' Paradise", "Pulling the Rats Out", "Become a Monster", "Ghost of Winter", "World Stopped Turning" and other songs Steve did with his Near Life Experience band such as "Caged In" and "Rock and Roll Killed the Family" .... they probably would've made it to a higher level of success. ....

The reason this band didn't break is that they were an A-League band that came out in a C-League time in rock. I remember this show well, glad to have seen them live.

wow.. reminds me of my youth. I recall ya'll complaining about the fake booze in your bottle at some shitty west bank bar in new orleans... pretty sure the mike stand waving around in this video was used there. I was long haired drunk nerd singing along badly in front.. lolol
