Wieder mal eine diskriminierende Ausgeburt der Göttlichen Evolution. Die Weibchen haben 2 Vaginas. Und die Männchen ???

From my research, Males are called Jacks and they have a forked penis for the females 2 vaginas.

Absolutely one of my favorite animals. I’ve been around them my whole life. Btw they can scream…found out one night many years ago when taking stuff out to my compost heap…we both jumped pretty and she definitely shrieked louder. I have seen them several times with their babies on their backs…it’s adorable. I think they’re beautiful.

I didn't know they could scream, thank you for sharing your stories about them. I think they are beautiful too.

And they DO play possum. In southern Ontario, I was walking my Scottish terrier at night and he stopped to sniff something in the grass and was at it for several seconds. I couldn't see what it was because of the darkness, so I got close and saw it was an Opossum, which was dead. I pushed it over with my foot and Caleb tried to bite it. I pulled his leash back, not wanting him to catch something from this dead animal, when it suddenly jumped up and took off. 👌
@naturalwonderofmotherearthАй бұрын
Wow, What an incredible Opossum experience. Thank goodness your dog didn't bite it.

Don't they use the sap to lure insects, then eat the insects along with the sap??
@naturalwonderofmotherearth2 ай бұрын
Great question. Yes the sap attracts insects which becomes an extra treat for them but they enjoy the sap alone also.

You are lucky to have squirrels trust you so much. It took me feeding them peanut butter to gain their trust. Please let me know how it works out for you. They sure are amazing little critters.
