I know this is an old video but I just wanted to say thankyou so much! ❤

I love how detailed the video is and how easy the stitch it. But my finished band turned out to be way shorter in length although I had measured the chain to fit around my head. Now I am thinking about crocheting another band and joining the two as it is too pretty to undo or waste. Any ideas what I should do for the joining?

This way of going through the middle of the stitch does leave a visible seam. The only seam that works for me is the mattress stitch which goes through the whole stitch side to side, when pulled that leaves a completely invisible seam

This is a pretty good tutorial. Your explanation is clear but your lighting isn’t good and your hands are upside down.

I like to do my front and back as one piece ( crochet back, and then crochet 2front pieces on each side of the top of the back. Then I do my sleeves in a spiral. I love the top down method, but it’s not always possible, depending on the stitch. Your cardi would look great with the granny top.

And how do we seamlessly match the sides up? You skip over that part and tell us to meet up to finish up neck amd sleeves

I have a video called "how to seamless join" it's a crochet technique.

How do you finish off the end of any row? Slip stitch a time or two, pull tight and weave in the end along inside. Done.

Plastic ones are too big most often but depending on size of yarn used it has its place. Chunky or super chunky yarn for instance.

Fun fact, one of the most difficult things about making a video tutorial for crochet or knitting is where to place your hands in front of the camera because you can’t see where you put your hands
