Oooh I LOVE this theatre, and of course, all the various people performing in it here... So... I was just wondering if it would be at all possible to get a bit more of Chauvelin's performance? Like, say, maybe "Where's the Girl Reprise" near the end of the show? I would *love* to see how this Chauvelin did with that particular number, especially as passionate as he seems about the Revolution... ;) <3 Ta very much in advance, in case you can, in fact, indulge my whim...

Not bad for a bunch of amateurs though?!

This was a pretty cheesy performance for a professional troupe.

@vixmeasles You're totally correct - Rachel York's performance is a recording but it has SO MUCH LIFE! - this performance is just... boring - and the tempo is too slow, which takes away a lot of the life.

I was wondering how they were going to pull off the guillotine scene. It actually turn out decently with the exception of the fake head getting caught in the blade. But hey, that's live theater for ya! Every performance is different and you never know what to expect!

WOW! How I would love to preform on THAT stage! (not to mention in the musical itself) Love this musical!

that must be nice for the cast for a change, it's normally freaking hot on a normal stage doing this kind of preformances, and ekspecially when they wear big costumes, with jackets and so on.

It has GOT to be colder than Dante's Hell performing at that location against a seawall! Kudos to that cast - and thank you for posting this. I have got to get to Cornwall and see this "theatre" ....

Haha, the squash gets whacked, that was fun. The head-cut at the end was awesome. The setting is also very nice. Chauvelin is average.

I was laughing when they chucked the body over the cliff. It was a nice end to an otherwise serious and high-powered song.

I take it that it was Ozzy (as usual) in the dress? *snickers* That was pretty damn good. I'm glad that there's a high quality video of any performance available on the internets, and I'm even more glad that it's of one so well done. Awesome. :3
