If you take the three price at the same time you will find that the profit is 0. But if you use your technique and inverse it you will make some profit for a while.

I have not used either platform in a while. For US equity trading, I think most platforms have about the same set of features. Maybe look at the fee structure, minimum margin requirements, interest rates, etc. as those might be more important to you.

Thanks for the question. A question back is: Who is "You"? If "You" are a retail investor, then no you cannot see what is going on inside of the broker's order routing decision or the exchange's order book. You would only be able to see your limit order once it is posted to the exchange's order book. On the other hand if "you" are a broker, then you can definitely see an incoming market order and decide how you want to route it (internalize it, or route it to an exchange or dealer). If "you" are an exchange, then you can definitely see an incoming market order and it is your job to execute that order against the best price(s) available in the order book.

No clue why anyone would use Word. So many free text editors like notepad++, vscode, etc. with great helpful extensions to support nearly any language

Who does? I always use notepad or notepad++. I recently was introduced to Edit Plus, except its paid. Notepad++ is free and recognizes the language and has tab markers and space and syntax coloring and checking.

I agree that a text editor is still best, but you can relatively easily turn that off in Word. From Microsoft: To disable smart quotes, On the File tab, click Options. Click Proofing, and then click AutoCorrect Options. In the AutoCorrect dialog box, do the following: Click the AutoFormat As You Type tab, and under Replace as you type, select or clear the "Straight quotes" with “smart quotes” check box. Click the AutoFormat tab, and under Replace, select or clear the "Straight quotes" with “smart quotes” check box. Click OK.

Alternatively press ctrl-z after each smartquote change to revert back, or turn it off in settings. It impacts the inch symbol as well, which comes up in ordinary technical docs, although it being wrong is less of an issue! Using Word to write code of any kind is not a good idea.
