can anyone explain what im failing execution wise on the first combo after the 5D combo? after the dust dash dust i can literally NEVER pick up the Cs.

These are okay combos. I would have liked to see some [C.s > 2S > 2H > 214P] routes though. Those are usually pretty meter efficient, and how you do their wall to walls.

At 1:01 , this one is a little weird. I didn't know you had to HOLD 236D (Wild Assault) to get them to launch upwards. So when I was doing it by just tapping the button and it wasn't launching, I knew something wasn't right. So for that combo, HOLD 236D just FYI.

Man I'm a SZ main and I hate how his fatal blow combo can't get over 550. I can get Nitara to 700 and baraka. SZ still under powered

It’s not just groundpound there’s crystal armor the ability to just do the tremor ground slam for pressure and still being able to combo off it with one bar just being able to combo high damage off a command grab is insane

VERY cool combos, small note though the 5K-6P-684BT only works on Faust(and other tall characters), so against anyone else skip the 6P, or skip it anyways for better oki

Y'know, my friends were saying that out of the entire cast of Strive, Giovanna was the most boring character to watch. They also said she has no sauce, and I kinda just hopped on the bandwagon because I couldn't rebuke it. But after watching this, I've realized Giovanna's sick. Great video!

Can you PLS tekk me why at 1:23 I'm not getting the grounded 5S into 6H when landing? I just land and my 5S whiffs and the opponent flips out. is the like maybe a super jump in there, or something? I've played around with it, but can't find any good enders besides this. And help would be greatly appreciated!

You don’t even have to do the whole quarter circle. Just forward, down, down+forward Some games it comes out if you do forward+QCF but others it wants you to be more precise. I feel guilty Gear is a bit more like that sometimes

Just a note, you can cancel into Changing and Swaying > Bonding and Dissolving from ANY normal on wallsplat. 6H WS > 63214P > 214H / 632146H is your best friend. You start your next neutral with your win-condition and have MORE meter than just ending a wallsplat with Bonding.

I will say the dash BRC routing is very creative and flashy, clip-of-the-week material right there. But you're sacrificing either okizeme, potential JR meter buildup, or raw damage cashout doing that. Realistically, you're better off doing your BnB Bonding combo for meter and then into RRC for damage/oki.

If you can cancel from a move before the enemy wall sticks, it gives you more time. Like aimed gunshot into concentration, then the wall stick happens mid concentration. But you need to be familiar with the combo so you know you can wall stick. Delaying the concentration cancel after wall sticking off a normal will cause you to miss super. Also buffering deus ex halfway through concentration is key so you can link the super. Also if you wall slump (wall sticking with 5.k, 2.k, 6.k, c.s or normal gunshot) when the opponent is grounded and not in an airborne combo, gives you way more time to follow up. The wall slump has an extra animation allowing for more resources or a super, but is not accesible from an airborne combo.

Sin's main filler is now 623S~S. No Gazelle Step needed. Allows him to get a microdash c.s/5K, depending on range/gravity. Usually if you can't get c.s, just going into 2H is recommend. You generally want to avoid any moves that require two stamina for conversions as mid combo extension, and instead use them as combo starters.

Ive bought the game some weeks ago after dizzy launch and Faust has been my main since. This are really helpful for a beginner specially when the combos the game itself teach you are really outdated and most of them don't work (sorry 4 the bad english)

cool combo video! though i would've recommended highlighting the patch changes by doing some 6k into wallbreak conversions, showing the new capabilities nado's ground launch has in combos, and how rainwater's nerf makes it work in combos in season 4, but that's just some nitpicking coming from a relatively experienced axl player, i appreciate the video nonetheless :o

0:52 I wouldn't ever really consider doing something like this. Spending meter only to go into a 236s knockdown over a potential 236H knockdown is never really worth it. This vid has some interesting routes with 2 bars but doesn't really show many of the important BNBS or strong install combos bed is known for.
