Shes beautiful , Maybe Celebrini and her can get married and continue the Hockey lineage ? Of course any kids would have to play for the sharks .

Way to go Joe. You are a gentleman and a gift to the game. You should definitely be in the top 100 in my books not only an amazing hockey player but a positive role model. Happy retirement and jersey retirement you earned it.

Great interview, Joe crying at the end and getting up and leaving shows how great he is. And I wasn’t even that big of a Fan of his when he played. What an awesome life he has lived!

:20 secs in and I want to say great job Jason at starting the interview with asking joes wife a question first and getting her involved... too many times we see the spouse of said athlete have to sit there like a wall flower and make them uncomfortable instead of involving them and making them feel apart of the "the party"... good job

LA Kings fan here. JT was always a pleasure to watch play, even though he put shivers down the spines of us Kings fans. Absolute class act. Hockey is better off today having had Jumbo grace the ice with his presence. Thank you for making the Kings/Sharks rivalry what it was.

I am fortunate to know the Thornton family, and I can say from personal experience, that Joe’s parents are nothing but class acts and exceptional people. As a kid, I slept over at their place and I can honestly say they treated me like I was one of their own kids. It’s not hard to see that the apple hasn’t fallen far from the tree in you, Joe! Thanks for your contributions to your community and the sport of hockey. This was a great interview that allowed people to see who you really are. Be blessed.

Forever a Bruin in my mind, once you were skating in Wilmington and my daughter hit the ice for figure skating right after (she was wearing her USA Jacket) and you took the time to do a few laps with her. It was amazing, and you were a gentleman and inspiration to a young woman who went onto Worlds.

Jumbo is an international treasure. His intensity and love for hockey is great. A pure jokester but all the stories you hear of him are all positive. Miss him on the Sharks. Was great being a Sharks fan all those years. Would loooooove to have a beverage with him and Burnzie together. Congrats on the HOF nomination Joe. Well deserved!!!

A Maine guy that loved Joe playing in Boston and like all hockey fans in New England was crushed when he was traded. Got to see Joe play one more time when he played the All Star game in Atlanta. Was the best player on the ice that night. I wish you could have played your career in Boston.

Caps fan here, but huge hockey fan in general. Growing up I always knew jumbo was a legend for the sharks. Watching this almost brought tears to my eyes. To really hear about the leader he is and how much he meant to people, how much his family means to him, it’s amazing. It’s crazy how much he did for the franchise and for the sport in general. Thank you Joe, and thank you for this interview. We need more like it

This was awesome. Time sure flies. My old family doctor and friend (Dr Archie Grace, we would always talk hockey. He told me he brought Joe Thornton into this world, as he was the doctor that delivered him. He said I brought a great hockey player into the world.) Loved watching Joe play, was great having him part of Leafs too. Happy to see he has wonderful wife and family, Cheers!

Hockey needs a new Hall of Fame for guys like Joe Thornton. Call it the NHL Hall of Hockey Excellence. Then they can shut down the politically correct DEI Hall in Toronto.
