I have a very energetic puppy... Put some peanut butter very lightly coated on the end of a large tablespoon and preoccupy the dog with that while you hold the paw firmly ...using a headlamp or well-lighted area... Push the toenail out and cut 90 degrees to the curve...easy process...not stressful

I think your dogs are beautiful, but I think they’d be more beautiful if you just bred them without their ears so that people who understood did not have to look at them and realize the amount of pain they went through just for a look. If their ears caused them that much trouble, then maybe you should just start breeding them without them.

I see that from your video that maybe the ears might not need taping. It gave me some relief lol. We go back in 2 weeks for his ear crop check up 💙

I saw a video recently that actually showed the surgery. I don’t know where it was done, as it was in Spanish. That puppy suffered. He was not fully sedated, and clearly no lidocaine was used on the ears prior to surgery. The pup didn’t stop crying. I’m not going to say that ardently against cropping, but it has to be done better than what I saw

Are not the ears one of the characteristics, the look of this breed, like dobermans; but I like it.

My two months old puppy loves to be carried around and whenever I want to put him on the floor or bed. His claws go out and tries to hold to whatever there is like a cat. Needless to say, my arms are full of scratches. So hopefully, I will be able to rim them at least a bit, because I do want to keep carrying him around.

The reason why puppies pile up on each other like that is because they can't regulate their body temperature. So they have to "dog pile" each other like that to help each other keep their body temperatures in check!

I almost cut my puppy's nails too short, it squeeked which made me stop pressure, im so glad it sqweaked loudly. I wouldve felt so bad, i am scared to do it again but this info helps, im only gonna trim the tiniest amount where it curls over tomorrow. Thanks
