Would anyone know what type conversations would occur amongst soldiers inside an M2 Bradley while going on a mission??
@MozambiqueEnjoyer6097 Жыл бұрын
Either sleeping or internally screaming because we haven't been able to move our legs for almost 12 hours. Also the one conversation that stood out for me the most was when SSG Shouse asked us, "What's the weirdest thing you've ever shoved up your ass? I'll go first. Anal beads. Hey men it's 2017, if you ain't doing butt stuff you're wrong." Being stuck in the back of the Bradley with him was like being locked in a closet with the gas station crackhead.

When I was in the calvary I remember the sergeants would get mad if anybody called the Bradley a tank they would say it's a armored tracked vehicle. I like what you said better tanks are not Bradley's. I definitely miss my time inside the Bradley even though when I was in the Army you get sick of it with all the Heat and everything but now I kind of wish I could go back.

Why in actual military clips of real soldiers firing, do they never actually lead their shots and only hit the engine compartments of vehicles unless they’re stationary 😂
@rosecityrower Жыл бұрын
Modern Fire Control Systems add lead to moving targets. As you track the target and hold the reticule over it, the system adds lead and you don't manually lead shots.

For anyone going to Basic or OSUT, some of you will likely encounter the typical dbag or trouble making asshole. I had a real shitbag in my platoon that was always causing me problems and fukin shit up, and setting a bad example to get his minions fukin off too. You'll need to get that handled. In infantry we were only allowed to use the back Emergency stairs the entire training, which are a bit cramped and always having to run everywhere. It's chaotic bc it's always a hurry tbing, so just get yourself behind that fukhead on a way down and push his ass hard. He'll likely get hurt with some sort of leg injury getting him out of there, on profile, or at least set a tone of "don't fuck off anymore". Running down like that nothing can prove you did anytning. Shitbags need to get dealt with, esp when causing you and/or everyone else grief.

Caleb Roche assuming you can do atleast 50 push ups and sit-ups in two minutes and run a sub 16 2-mile time you’ll be fine. Just focus on not getting hurt. Drink a lot of calcium and take fish oil to prepare your joints. OSUT is meant to destroy your body and mind.

yes we have a sniper section, hard to get into due to lack of slots. Aslo I think SC has a guard SF unit. Id try talking to the recruiter for the unit. He could give you all the info you need, sorry for the late reply.
@jurquiza976 жыл бұрын
CT Tactical Hey, ok thanks for the info. I talked to recruiter started the process on joining as 11b going to MEPS in November. Recruiter said same yes have sniper but said I must stand out I unit to get a chance for it. Recruiter said my nearest SF unit is in NC said best to go in as 11b stand out at my unit at everything and put in to transfer over there and go SFAS. One of big issues is choosing between mechanized or light unit he said closest unit to me Is mechanized but how do they pick who is a Bradley crew driver or gunner etc ? I want to be part of dismount like you described. The light infantry unit is little over 4 hours away which seems worth it to me as long as I’m not always stuck as a drivers rant kind of Bradley crew member. The overall goal is to try make it to a SF unit but want to be out in field as much as possible until make it there. Just don’t know which unit to pick. Sorry for long message just you are the first 11b Guard you tuber I’ve come across.

Usually 9 months in country,plus pre and post mobilization. And light vs mech could impact how often and where you deploy. Mech deploys more to Europe and places like that because Bradleys aren't needed in Iraq/Afghanistan where as light will probably go to Iraq more often.
