In Turkey they will take any currency however in shops you will not get the best rate. You will do better if you change your pounds to Turkish Lira at any money change office in the town.

Gayle the challenge now is the Turkish Government has changed the law and foreigners can't get a residence permit with a rental property. You are right! The official currency is Turkish Lira however in the season the majority of the customers are foreign customers so the taxi firms show the fares in Euros to make it easier for them to understand. I guess it also doesn't look as bad as showing 1000's of Lira by showing lower digits in Euros!! 😀

You are right! I have 2 restaurant owners looking for the right place in town to open an Indian restaurant. One of them is the owner of Taj Mahal in Didim! Watch this space! Next year we could have a real Indian restaurant here in Kusadasi.. 🙏😀

Gayle this in Istankoy Fish Restaurant at Fisherman Square. This was the first Greek Night and I believe they will make the Greek Night a regular event every Friday evening..
