CJB alum here (2018-2021). Just learned that the CJB has replaced Street Beat and I am devastated. This cadence is fire, and more than that, it is iconic.

Actually both forms, elk and elks, are acceptable. Although "elk" is more widely used, look it up. We used to joke a lot about it in school.

Actually, Elks isn't a word. The plural form of elk is elk. So in Centerville, some moron is making us look all grammatically incorrect.

We play a groove called Street Beat in my high school's marching band, so I stumbled across this while I was searching for it. Not what I was looking for, but still pretty impressive and catchy.

Just watch them in indoor. They aren't the best of course but they make finals in world class almost every year.

I was there when you percussion did this. I was on of the eighth graders that played flute.
