I have been a T-mobile customer for over 10 years. I thought the T-mobile home internet would be a great idea and work perfectly, however when I ran into issues I messaged them on their customer support using my T-mobile app and was told that I needed to call the home internet direct customer service number because its different departments. No problem I said and went and did that. I waited on this line for hours trying to get help without ever talking to anyone. I tried calling back a few other times just to make sure a call did not get hanged up. If you are interested in just how frustrating this is go search "Worlds longest wait time for home internet support? Called about my home internet and screenshots show my progress or lack there of" on google. It will be the first result you see from T-mobiles own website. constant progress on what happens will be uploaded there and currently its been 3 hours and 27 mins on hold without talking to anyone.

I have this service and there are good and bad points with it. Just like TechOut said, this router cannot be placed in Bridge Mode, which causes a double NAT issue. It does not have an embedded GPS for location , and the cell towers might assign an IP address to it that could be several hundred miles from your actual physical location; this makes local TV streaming services stop streaming to your device. This box does not have external antenna inputs so you cannot use a directional high gain antenna(s) to improve your cell signal to it. Its a WYSIWYG type of device. It does have a built in battery so if the power hiccups it stays on. The built in 2.4 & 5G WiFi signals will reduce your LTE upload speed, but you can turn them off in the Firmware and use your own AP devices that are sufficiently separated from this device - which will improve your LTE bandwidth down and up. The service is solid. The sim card can be removed, and it is physically compatible with other devices however it is not software compatible with my Netgear LB1120 LTE modem (which does have a bridge mode and external antenna inputs). This box would be perfect if it had external antenna inputs, a built in GPS for location, and a Bridge Mode in the firmware. I hope their replacement in the near future incorporates these additions, otherwise I'll be looking for a different service to be able to use my Netgear LB1120. If anyone knows of an actual unlimited service that has a non-proprietary sim card and uses TMobile, ATT or Verizon cell towers for the data plan, and it's priced around $60/mo please reply to this and let me know who they are!
