Sarah Moore I mean, he didn’t feel that way about it being a private affair while doing it. I was there that night and it left a bit of sour taste, some people walked out. But he apologised and did a better set the next night I heard.

I’ve wondered this too. The band don’t seem to be using a backing track though, and it’s not quite the same speed as the original. Her vocal does sound the same though, and the reverb is exactly as the record.

I personally don’t think so. But I wasn’t the sound man that night. She was a very professional performer and I don’t think there were any tracks running.

Listening back to this six months later, Charles doesn't sound as pre-recorded as I originally thought. She's probably just that talented. I don't know, remind me in six months, we'll see how I feel then. I do think she's really talented, though, either way.

I love these guys. I met them in the '90's and was won over by them. Lucky to have played with them several times at the Starry Plough in Oakland. Amazingly free imagination and awesome harmonies. Tom was the one who turned me on to Robyn HIchcock who became a favorite. And hey, I still have my Sandy Coates 45!. ~~ Moore Brothers Forever! .
