He is a brilliant actor. I always hoped that he would have been cast as Ser Garland on Game of Thrones. I also used to get him mixed up with another actor, Thomas Jane.

James Purefoy makes the show happen at one end and Kevin Bacon makes it happen at the other they come together and they make an outstanding duo, that is outstanding to behold❤

This show needed more seasons. Everyone did so good with the short time frame. Writers actors etc.

Absolutely the best Mark Antony. He is everything you expect him to be. The moment he walked into the first episode, you knew it was Antony without a word been spoken. Brilliant performance.

He did an exceptional job playing Mark Anthony....one of the best roles ever...too bad there were only 2 seasons.....second season should have been stretched to 3 or 4 seasons

@MysticAcconut5: No one's is going to try and outwrite one of Shakespeare's most famous speeches. It would be ridiculous to even try. They had to work around it and the way they did it was PERFECT. I mean, seriously...think about it. FWIW.

Lol, oh I Loved what they did. Have him show up after that speech when Rome was ready to burn. What He says is burned into my brain "And I have an angery Mob, who will roast and eat your men of quality in the ashes of the Senate house" not saying it is better than Shakespeare or Brando but just adds to it.
