Even today I enjoy listening this legends talking about the game with the late bra Screamer( may his soul rest peace). Derby was a derby the whole country was shaking the week before the game newspaper, radio, TV, people in street, in the train, buses every where they talk about the derby.

That's why these two teams when playing were so dangerous. Look at the names he mentioned.players had to take decision by themselves during the game,how to contain the opposition and win the game.

@@GlenroseMakgorogo I disagree Chiefs even today doesn’t have a problem when playing Pirates , they can play scrapp football and still win. Check last 10 Soweto Derbies you will see, so don’t be like Chiefs is nothing to Pirates today to me is 50 50 since I started watching football early 2000s but I never saw even 1 Derby with Doctor so I am asking my self how was it kant..............ur statement is suggesting that nowadays Pirates is dominating Chiefs which is not true at all, Chiefs has better winning ratio in last 5 yrs
