omg i love taco bell bags and any fast food bags that make noise, also i even use the ones that comes from burpee seeds with the little zips on top and store a few scrappy papers inside i can use in future... my junk book is full ,...lol I have to make some more from my cereal boxes, or any box really! The possibility are endless!

I just started JJ'ing. I am currently working on project #3 so I am a real newbie but I have bought some items and my projects are a mixture of junk and bought stuff :) I have started a stash of junk (trash) and when I have enough I am going to make a true JJ. I am sure it's going to be a challenge but also rewarding.

I’ve always wanted to live near a train track. I travel by train to avoid flying and pass through many states. What state are you in may I ask?

Oh really? :) I don't blame you for avoiding flying. I've never been on a plane before. I live in West Virginia. The trains we have here are mostly carrying cars full of coal traveling out of the coal mines. They travel much slower and are way noisier and clunkier lol!

@@peaceofjunkjournals West Virginia always sounds such a nice place. I’m in California which has lovely coastline but has too many people for my liking. I’m an introvert so it’s a bit overwhelming at times. That said there’s some quiet countryside too. Anyway thx for the reply and I love your journal and calm voice.

This is a beautiful journal! It is so fun and eclectic! It is inspiring to try out new ways to tuck goodies into journals. I know whoever buys this journal will have a wonderful time with it for whatever purpose they use it for. Now I’ll be busy using up my gift bags / Paper bags to create some journals and make more eclectic journals this year as well. I really enjoy your videos and your journal flip throughs . It is a die cut and I just glue it closed :) but I may be able to make a video of different ways to make them :D

Awesome but what kind of book did you use? You didn't explain that and how you put it together please.

Thanks for watching :) I used a ritz cracker box as the base for the cover. Then I covered it in white paper. Then the pink leaves fabric. NextI very lightly glued on the fabric squares on the spine. Last I sewed it all down (not so easy to do but it was worth it in the end lol). I put the book corners and the insode lining fabric and papers on after all that was done. I may show my process one day soon. There are lots of videos out there that show how to make a recycled box journal cover though if you don't want to wait for me! Just search it up on KZbin 🥰 Hugs, L

It's so refreshing to see and hear journal artists being super resourceful. I do mostly envelope art, ephemera and cards and now half finished journals.i love using what's available and inspired by random stuff people would normally chuck out
