Also as a company driver you don’t see 150K. Big companies pay the least and average you around 55-65K. If you live on the road you may see 75K. Smaller companies pay a little more but it’s not that much.

The CDL-A for the last 10 years at least has always been 4 weeks of combined classroom, yard and road training. Also all these new regulations are also to push owner ops out of business and give it to the big companies. They can comply to all these unnecessary regulations, owner ops can often not. Big trucking lobby is who pushes and pays for these regulations to put in place!

Currently in the process of getting my LLC set and comply Friday. Going into the Dry Ban dispatching. Watching made me more comfortable as I’ve been on edge with getting out there soon and cold calling to set up and build my clientele soon. I think once I get the equations packed down for each load I’ll be heading in the PRO direction lol.,Thank you for posting this even when you are tired 😊 nice job

Perfect timing as I've been looking into the same thing, I spent the last year & a half looking into AI in business application. I think in the beginning, AI is going to make our lives much easier as employees. For example, I think it can already 3x the output of a dispatcher. You wouldn’t need to manually check load boards or determine which trucks and trailers need drivers-AI could automatically match loads based on driver availability and send them directly to you. (Many more things you can mention but this is the biggest thing that can be done already). Eventually yea some employees & departments are not gonna be needed anymore & that's gonna suck, in the short term, but I think it will allow those same people to go out & build their own business & it will be much easier to be done than before, or they can get a job that won't be replaced. It will take a while until we do reach this point. "What would happen if a truck breaks down in the middle of a drive?" Yea with a self driving truck there is a TON of safeguards needed but the trucking industry already prepared for it VIA Samsara & their integrations. They track issues with the engine, so you can build it out when it does break down, to send over a nearby tow, notify brokers, shippers, coordinate load hand-off etc. This is something I've been working on & looking to help businesses implement, so any questions or discussion happy to engage 😁
