Thoughts from a Dallas fan....On paper, SF is an absolute juggernaut. There is no denying the talent. The interchangeability of the skilled players is seriously impressive. NOONE moves players around like the niners. The o-line is pretty good so CMC and deebo should get a rushing game established early. Vanderesche has been frustrating me for weeks. He won't commit to inside runs and gets picked up by blockers unnecessarily. Parsons is a freak but has been limited to rushing the passer. He would be more complete if he played regular linebacker and only rushed on passing downs. I dont think he should line up across from TW. That's guy's a monster. Dallas secondary is better than the niners secondary, but not by a lot. Diggs likes to bite on the fakes and gets burned. A lot. Next, Dak will have to have some sort of running game to set up the pass. Zeke and Pollard are both very good but the line is sketchy. I don't see them winning against a clearly superior line. SF linebackers are very good too. If Dak can at least get a mediocre rushing attack going, he'll be able to take advantage of the weak(ish) secondary, but I'm not betting on it. Dallas defense can stop the offense if they don't allow short 3rd downs. There simply aren't enough weapons to cover Deebo, CMC, Kittle, Aiyuk, and the dark horse of this game, Juszczyk. I think that guy moves the chains when it matters most. Everyone else gets the attention. Now, the flipside. The niners have had a weaker schedule and have seemed to struggle against mediocre teams. Second half effort seems to bail them out, so their actual value is still in question. Dallas, on the other hand, is all over the place. They're either playing lights out, or they're straight trash. The latter usually happens when the offense is constantly stuffed and the defense can't get a break. The D can bail them out several times but not indefinitely. Special teams is in doubt no that Maher decided to start smoking Crack before games. Verdict: If Dallas can run the ball, they'll eventually torch the secondary and put good points on the board. If San Fran can keep 3rd downs under 6 yards, they will move the chains, over and over. Imma go SF-31 DAL-23
