I hope everyone has a safe and successful hunting season. Damn those are some nice looking bucks, sometimes just getting eyes on them is fun and rewarding. Good luck how does it look up north ? That’s where I do most of my hunting.
@piercehuntclub765717 күн бұрын
My schedule has been overflowing, haven’t had much of chance to head north, but last I checked cameras the early rain in the spring did them well….

Good idea with the lucky buck bucket, im going to use mine for rye, my no till brassicas took awhile to get there feet under them but now that they have there really taking off, i was worried about them at first because it got dry and they wasn't growing very fast, we got a good rain coming now and i think i will be alright

Can you do a video on how the jack stand is built. Did you guys build the bottom frame or does someone manufacture them?
@piercehuntclub76575 ай бұрын
One of us is in the heavy highway construction line of work, so those brackets are special and are not manufactured. Maybe we will build another and make a video on how.

It's considered poaching to use an inline in flintlock season. We hunted all season and never got a shot.
@piercehuntclub76579 ай бұрын
Actually, I checked with the GC… asked a GC “is it legal to use an Inline muzzleloader during the Extended firearm season”. here’s their answer …. Yes. It's considered a "lesser firearm" and can be used in Washington County, 2B for antlerless only and with orange.

That is not winter rye. Looks like brassica to me 1:21
@piercehuntclub7657 Жыл бұрын
It is a form of brassica, winter rye is cast inside the brassica early September through early October for continual growth. Once the deer eat the brassica, they’re provides a lasting alternative
@piercehuntclub765722 күн бұрын
It’s actually a mix from merit seed in Ohio, the winter rye is cast into the “brassica” mixture…. So when the deer eat the brassica, the winter rye is already established to present the next food source…. Winter rye which is cold hearty. I do 3 plantings of winter rye … 3 weeks apart
