It's worth noting that these are remixes, because the original game used xmi files with multiple midi sequences that it would combine and swap between on the fly depending on where you are and what you're doing in the game. Which basically means that making an OST like this is a lot more complicated than just playing the midi files through a midi module. It would take some arranging to do so. But these tracks from the system shock website go even further and add things which confused me when I was trying to make sure everything was sounding right with my setup. I thought there was something wrong with my setup/copy of the game because it sounded so different. Until I played the midi from the game's files myself using px player on dosbox and saw what was actually going on. Then I found some gameplay from someone using a real sc55 and the original disk and it sounded exactly the same as my setup. Hopefully this comment saves someone the headache I went through trying to fix a problem that didn't exist. I'm using dosbox-staging, loopmidi, and nuked-sc55 for anyone wondering. I picked the wrong game to test that setup with apparently haha.

Interestingly, some MIDIs are very wrong, which can be due to original files being some Tracker music format, and Eidos just recreated it with mistakes in MIDI. Also Mako Reactor sounds very interesting: in original it's more like industrial song, but there more like techno/trance. Also, instead of steam sounds there're bubbles sounds, which is interesting too.

I love the Warcraft II soundtrack, and it sounds so great here! Thank you for uploading this! I was wondering if there would be any way for you to turn these into FLAC files and share them.

I love the sound of the SC-88, which is how i love how the CD release of the game decided to record them there. But i have one thing to tell you, these uploads are using incorrect instruments mapped for the FM version, but yes the raw MIDI comes that way.
