I do think that in certain sports these can help. Not the average person driving around town, but after you’ve burned the easy to access carbs stored by the body, then these drinks do help. But beyond being on the edge of performance or failure, I can’t think of a single case for these sports drinks. They used to be good. I became suspicious when it became my 12 year olds favourite drink. We put as stop to that quick, I was shocked to see what was in it. Mineralized water is excellent and certainly wise to consume. I think most people have enough electrolytes they are at no risk of depleting them even after a hard day of work or sport, but in a marathon where you basically enter an accelerated fasting state, electrolytes can be everything.

Why would researchers request drink donations by these companies and base research on what was provided? If you actually care about what’s in them, it seems much more wise to properly fund the study, go out and buy the brands you want in the quantities you want and do the study yourself. This way their paper doesn’t need to have a section outlining potential bias due to who funded it. Know what I mean? Study shouldn’t be based on who says yes to the study. Just do it, as Nike says.

AAA is living off their reputation I canceled today both my insurance and roadside assistance first time I called them out to tow my truck. They locked my keys in my truck and killed my battery called to complain only to fall on deaf years then today popped my tire in the middle of a snowstorm one hour after they were supposed to be there, they called me and tell me they are 2 1/2 hours out. Also I get room rates that go up when you tell them you are a aaa member because they know you a sucker. Blew my mind their discount is an up charge. It may work for the gym but it’s not worth it to get stranded on the side of the road and your keys locked out of your car and your battery killed.

@savebeat Жыл бұрын
Hey Jacob thanks for the comment, did your hotel always mail back belongings, what if a customer didn’t claim it?
@jacobbyrnes8256 Жыл бұрын
@@savebeat usually the computer system had an address tide to the account that booked the room. so unless the room was booked under a 3rd party and the address was not changed on checking in. witch happened sometime but was supposed to be changed on check-in. we always could use usps to mail guests their stuff back. but that would usually only work if a guest was a united states resident.
@jacobbyrnes8256 Жыл бұрын
if the guest was from another country we would usually call them first because of international shipping charges.
@jacobbyrnes8256 Жыл бұрын
keep in mind this would only really apply if the items in question where found in a hotel room and not the common areas of the hotel

Misleading this isnt on saving money or buying unnecessary, this tip is for not impulsively buying things which is completely different from saving and buying things you need
@savebeat Жыл бұрын
Hey Isai, I agree can see how you would see that…at the same time unnecessary purchases are often impulsive, and sometimes we need to step away to know the purchase is indeed unnecesary
