I got turned on to Yes by my best friend's older brother in 1973 at the ripe age of 15. It opened up a whole new world in music for me. Because of their diverse sound and the breadth of their music, I was able to crossover into many different music forms in my life; jazz, rock, folk, prog rock, hip hop, rap, symphonic, orchestral, etc... They started it, and on the day I die and leave this world, I will ask that they finish it. ❤

This song (and especially that thin voice of Jon Anderson and the outstanding Steve Howe) will always be linked to my time in Davos, Switzerland. Sweet memories of a part of my adolescence far from home. Symphonic rock as it was meant to be

Whomever or whatever this song is about, it's obvious that it still holds the same strong meaning to him now as it did in 1974. Absolutely beautiful and further cements it as one of my favorite songs for decades.

I love prog rock, and of course, I love this band very much. However, I heard that Jon Anderson is/was a bit of a perfectionist, and it really shows with his opening statements...which in my opinion...didn't need to be said out loud. It was not professional, , like all the other recordings were not right, and this time we will get it right. Sorry, but I was a little taken aback by that, Jon.

This song literally brought me to tears!!! It’s extraordinary how approximately 30 musicians can play the most progressive complicated music yet it sounds so familiar and easy to listen to yet challenges us every single time we listen to it!! I could listen to this song 100 times and always hear something different and never get tired of it. Thank you. Yes yes yes yes

My favorite band for the last 45 years. One of their top musical masterpieces. Too bad Jon insists on that annoying tambourine that is louder than all the rest.

This masterpiece is for me one of the most extraordinary compositions and performances of the 20th century. Everything seems to be like a poem of cosmic and human love of incomparable beauty and harmony. The light of this piece ends on Howe's vibrant notes on steel that seem to dissolve into the entire universe.
