I’m excited for 2025 fishing season. I have been fishing kayak tournaments for 3 years now and haven’t dealt with drama luckily. Some people think there should be no rules for a kayak tournament and that gets the drama going.

I enjoyed this video, I havent fished that lake before in a boat but I am planning on it real soon. You said something about they want the spotted bass caught out the lake. Are spotted bass taking over the lake? I'm a strong advicate of the Whooper Plopper and the Pop-R for locating arggressive topwater action. Thanks again for the video footage and maybe you will let us all know how you did in the tournament on your next video.

8:00 is that a speed worm? I couldn’t under what you called it. I would not have thought of that this time of year.
@Fishingwithfaithoutdoors232 ай бұрын
Yeah a speed worm. Anything that looks like bait fish in grass. It 100% weedless in grass and brush. I would use a smaller one , that was the 10” i believe. Just use a 1/8-1/16 oz sinker pegged, with a 4/0 or 3/0 EWG hook. Make sure the tail is pointing down and texpose is at the top.
