In 1964 Brenda Lee was invited to the UK. She went there without her handlers, who were with her everywhere stateside. Overseas she wanted to cut it loose, and this was the song she chose!
Wow! Amazing. #JellyRoll here is your back-up singer!!

That piano line didn't always included a double hit on that second note ... Ray introduced the world to a Wurtlizer electric piano on this one ... and this cat does Ray pretty spanky! Purdy cute how they got those dancin' cuties involved! That's all right!! And I just love how they had all that systemic racisim cooking on this stage, yeh! NOT!! Keepa rockin'!

A good drummer makes a good band . Sandy Mckee and Rod Ellicott, were the Foundation of this great band. Always admire them, since their beginning, and keep listening up to now. McKee, still amaze me.

👍🤩💝This band is great and the female lead singer is fantastic. I’m sitting here asking myself “why is no one in the comments section talking about the lady singing?” I was thinking I’ve heard this song before. I had to find her name. Lydia Pense! Reminds me of Janis Joplin of course. All of this is beyond my years. My mom used to play this music, all kinds of music, so I was exposed to a lot of genres from this, to rock n roll, classical to opera. RIP mommy. Gone too soon but never forgotten. 🙏😭💝

Janis Joplin and Lydia Pense were friends and Joplin recommended Pense to music promoter Bill Graham to audition for the band Cold Blood.
