my current issue is that it keeps disconnecting and connecting again, and it does it for multiple times. its very annoying that this keeps happening. i have tried restarting the ps5 and the modem and nothing is fixed

Ensure that: - Quality of Service (QoS) settings prioritizes gaming devices. - Any IP address conflicts are resolved. - MAC filtering is disabled (or the PS5's MAC address is added). 7. **Test Network Speed**: Use the PS5's built-in speed test to check the network performance. Go to "Settings" > "Network" > "Test Internet Connection" to see if the connection speed is adequate. 8. **IP Address Configuration**: Set a static IP address for your PS5 manually. This can prevent address conflicts in your local network. 9. **Disable IPv6**: Sometimes, disabling IPv6 in your router settings can resolve connectivity issues. 10. **Factory Reset Router**: If all else fails, consider doing a factory reset on your router and reconfiguring it. Check the Connections Power Cycle the Console Unplug Everything for 2 Minutes to Drain Power Adjust Settings Update Firmware Update Headset via PC Update the Console Reset PS5 to Default Settings Restore PS5 to Original Condition Test with Another Device

@julianflores6237 Unplug everything wait 1 minutes to drain all power from it. After this plug it all back in and charge up the device. Leave it for a couple hours. Come back and try reset again. Make sure the button is switched on the headset when you hold the buttons together for reset. Try holding the buttons for longer this time.

One thing that I found to solve this issue is make sure you don’t have MAC filtering on for the PS5.

@jenscee7679 Yes this is the same for any device if you filter the device specific MAC eg the PS5 or Phone out and block it the device won't be able to access the network/Internet. Knowing your mac is key and knowing how to find it on your device is also key. Normally this is done by searching the modal of your device and how to on google forms or AI.

My ps5 starting having this issue after a severe lightning storm 12 months ago . Never been same since . I’m not sure if it’s a coincidence , or how that could be even be related as nothing was struck and there was no other issue with any other electrical devices. I have to restart ps5 and normally that’s fixes issue it if that fails I pull the cable out of the router for few seconds and put back in , sometimes I have repeat about 4 times for it to work.

@13x10s Sounds like a router issue. I'd purchase a new router or reset your current router to default. Also try changing your Ethernet inputs.

@ that’s what I originally thought till I realised resetting ps5 fixes the problem most times . I would assume that means ps5 issue , I’m a truck driver tech is not my thing lol . Driving is .

@099gfdger4e4ddd I'm in Australia and it worked for me. I'm not sure how it would work there but I'd assume it would be much the same with improvements. Check the same things I did on your EURO playstation and you should be able to see if the policy is the same or different. If it's the same then you should be good to go. Also check the Euro COD website.

thanks, i read so many forum/reddit posts about two button you had to hold down, but until i saw your video i never understood that the "game" button is that weird channel switch on the dang ear muff. is there any headset that has solid build quality, good firmware, but also lets you hear your own voice loudly when you talk? the astro, as bad as it is, at least lets me hear myself clearly. and i've already wasted enough time returning products that don't have strong "sidetune" or whatever dumb name they use for that feature.
