BS- you can’t get it to heat, when it does, it shuts down before you can turn around. You only get this much steam when it is empty almost.

Do you use the turbo setting or the auto setting when pressing seams on quilt blocks and finished quilt top? I have quilt with tree blocks that were precut… that were lightly starched prior to the laser cutting and the steam caused my blocks to shrink although I think I might have also lightly applied Best Press… so I had to redo two blocks and then I just used dry iron. Now that quilt is put together I’m going to need steam or a little Best Press to get the seams to lie flat. I also have long piece of sashing between 6 rows of tree blocks and the border that I chose not to used Best Press when I cut them out. It will be sent to long arm quilter and she steams when loading on long arm frame. My quilt is “Pinehurst” pattern by Laundry Basket Quilts.

This was so quick and super helpful! It's harder than I expected to find Quilt Path instructional videos that use more of the software features than just the power panto. Thanks for sharing!

@@kandkramey so you don’t get thread build up at the start/stop points. Makes for a cleaner finish if you are knotting and burying threads.

Let me know if it works. I’ll keep watching. I’m a first time long arm in person. Sometimes they’re good sometimes I’m picking out threads for days. Hope I get better.

So far so good! I have not had the rollers move during quilting at all since I did this.
