That's the drain plug, check level plug is on the side. 2005 Caddilac srx takes 6 quarts of Dexron 3 H, not Dexron 6.

got a 99 silverado 4x4 has the 4l80e in it mine wont shift into 4th gear until it gets to a certain temp on the engine temp gauge during the summer when it warmer outside it shifts perfect and there are no codes lol i dont get it

Believe the plug you point out is the drain plug, fill level plug lives above the drain plug and is vertical (facing toward the outside/drivers door.

WRONG! That is the drain plug NOT the fluid level check point. You check it in Drive from the sight at the back SIDE of the passenger side of the trans (2:00). There’s a sight plug on the side of the trans. Now I don’t trust the rest of the video.

This dickhead can't even speak proper grammar! Yeah and no! The check/fill is on the driver's side case which is above the pan. Btw, if do multiple burnouts the transmission will give u a big 🤮 eventually! So will the rear end. Btw the rear end went first which I personally swapped out n trans is totally spent now! But she ate many of tires n all was fun. Also got some sweet rubber under coating in wheel wells 🤘
