I'm so freaking happy to have rediscovered Steve Marriott.....as a teenager, I followed him and adored him; while never understanding the clueless nature of my friends. I love Marriott's vulnerability voiced out through his many song, styles and bands he played with.

So happy to rediscover Marriot. I followed him closely as a teenager during the 1960s and paid attention to the various bands he played with. He's fantastic and needs to be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

I remember watching this with my family a week before the movie came out. Unless you lived during this time you have no clue how big Batman Returns was. Warner Bros. had been hyping this movie for months at this point with VHS copies of the trailers running in every electronics department in every Wal-Mart in America for months! I remember once a week going to walmart with my mom walking by the TV set with the Batman Returns trailer looped over and over. This special was a primetime special too and we were pretty excited to watch it. Good times. Movies no longer are like that....actual cultural events.

I just met a gal who lives in England, a few miles from Dover, which I have wanted to see since seeing them in 'Tommy'. She wants to see where I live, in the Desert Southwest. Funny how that works - or doesn't - life is full of near misses.

Good music, nice videography-editing (esp the match cuts but also the synergetic zoom/push in as Terry raises his arm) and the facial expressions from Waterman.

Anyone would change with the success of Phil Collins. He was different though as scene here he was perfectly willing to work so hard to get results they wanted I don't think he realized how much of his life would be spent
