I've only recently started diving into reaction videos, and the last few years i've been going down a Day6 rabbit hole at least once or twice a year. With their new album, here I am again! This song has became a staple to my life when it released and my god, the reality it hits just hits so right. Learning about my mental health status, I've been fighting everyday. When this song came out it just opened my eyes even more and help me fight even harder. I can honestly say I cried seeing you cry. Flashbacks just came to that year when I first had this song on repeat everyday from summer till nearly winter.

I have two favorite groups: Girls Generation and 2NE1. Don't ask me which is the best because they aren't the same Which do you think is better an apple or a tomato. They are both fruits but they are not the same. Hopefully my analogy explains my feelings. Comparisons are odious.

Come Back Home has a serious message. I believe they are talking about people escaping from reality whether through virtual world, drugs, alcohol or whatever. If you look at the bag for the pills it says they are Salt which allows them to hint at drug use. However, those withdrawing leave behind those who love them in pain and sorrow. They need to return to reality.

Back again. Note there are 3 versions of Fire. The original debut which begins with the elevator, the street version which I like better than this one, and of course this one.

Watching the video i believe its message is about withdrawing from reality and how it hurts the ones you leave behind. Drugs, alcohol, virtual worlds, and other addictions hurt. Also this is one of the two videos in which Dara shows her acting skills.

The original debut video is the one with the elevator. in 2009 Minzy was 15, Cl was 18, Dara and Bom were 25. An unusual mixture of youth and experience.

It's been 2 years already haha, but I still wanna drop my penny on how I understand the storyline! So in Fly High, JiU traps the spider and Yoohyeon burns it with the magnifying glass. Since then, the girls experience "nightmares." If you look closely in the shot where Yoohyeon is turning around, we see someone in a rocking chair. We believe that's the Spider Lady who cursed the girls with the nightmares. "The Curse of Spider" is an actual Dreamcatcher B-side and the lyrics pretty much summarize Fly High's storyline from both the spider's and the girls' perspective. The video ends with JiU closing down the gates of the haunted mansion to keep the curse in, rather than out. Probably a last act of good will while she still could. In Chase Me, the girls are in the Dreamworld, which I would define as a mirrored version of the normal world but the girls can only manifest themselves as people's nightmares. The nightmare hunter (this is confirmed by the girls themselves in Good Night's era interviews) is looking to hunt the girls after investigating their story. I would imagine some news or rumours would generate after 7 girls go missing in a big ass mansion. Anyway, the girls manage to manifest themselves /physically/ in the real world through witch craft and such thanks to Dami and they're able to grab the lady's book that caused the nightmares. By burning the pages, their curses end, becoming "human" again and they trap the hunter in the dreamworld. Maybe that also implies some sort of sacrife that helped them free themselves. In You & I, we see the girls using pictures and burning them (Side note that in both Chase Me and Good Night there is the burning film effect, so it's even more consistent). After seeing the girls burn the pages in Good Night and now they are burning pictures in You & I, I wouldn't say they're evil. In fact, I would say maybe they're "killing" other nightmares in those pictures (New nightmare hunters?) The picture they burn in the MV even has a spiderweb so they're probably "happy" they are destroying more curses. But the Spider Lady eventually found out and wanted to stop them. We can assume that she knows the girls escaped the curse and still wants revenge on Yoohyeon, the one that killed her (or one of her spider minions) with the magnifying glass so she disguises herself as someone who has a nightmare, seeks the girls help, but the photo flash just reveals her true form, the Spider. The lady immediately curses Yoohyeon back into the Dreamworld and leaves, content. Yoohyeon's friends, now professional nightmare hunters, try to exorcise the curse out of Yoohyeon but Yoohyeon didn't get out in time, the portal closing. Also, if you look at the shape behind the portal, it looks like a gigantic magnifying glass getting sunlight, the way the spider was killed (Spider lady being ironic by trapping Yoohyeon there?) Moving on, the girls realize that the only way to get Yoohyeon out would be to go back into the Dreamworld. They already got out once, right? How hard could it be? Well, in What, they seem to be unable to find Yoohyeon. The whole concept of What is the girls looking for their friend while also experiencing nightmares as a consequence. In PIRI. they get deeper in the Dreamworld at a point of no escape. They use the PIRI to try to call for help but its useless. In PIRI, JiU finally sees her doppelganger, which appears for the first time in Fly High playing the piano (Great spotted on your end and many other clues that I only noticed recently haha). The PIRI music video doesn't seem to have a lot of correlation to the other videos, simply the girls are experiencing worse nightmares. In the alt ending, Breaking Out showcases the girls' original nightmares more explicitly and they all fight back and find each other in the Dreamworld. Not free but together.
