From Hbox's RoM 3 win in 09. There isn't a new non-god major winner until Leffen at Beast in 2015, and not another one until plup years later. It's easy to forget how dominant the five gods era was but they really were playing a different game at the time

While not my favorite, I gotta say the most impactful one was either Jmook's Genesis 9 win or Plup's Dreamhack Atlanta win. Plup was the first person other than Leffen or a god to win a major in years at that point and Jmook got solo Sheik her first major win since 2004, and at the "superbowl of Smash"

Honestly I just love smash bros in general. Every game has its flaws but all 4 games are amazing (there wasnt one on Wii U and you cant convince me otherwise). While Melee is my game of choice competitively, casually ill take ult or brawl any day.

every video game that will be released is under a time period of an agenda, were the developer has planned for that current game to be replaced by another one of their sequels. The point of all these developers are to make sure u can replace the game with another game. So idk why yall like to pay attention to the details of what is the good thing in them, what is the wrong, when in reality they dont profit off of one perfect video game and pleasing humanity forever since one release date, nor do they have to a 1 year and a half disadvantage by 2 intimidating companies like xbox and ps So all video games must die and they like it that way, if it doesnt die for being too balanced when the next smash drops, then itll die for being too underbalanced but the point is to make sure the video game isnt perfect for humanity so they can sell u for example 100 smash bros. its such a waste of investment, time and effort to realize and have this information in your brain about what is wrong with ultimate, when u should understand that they made brawl like that for a reason.. they made smash 4 like that for a reason and they made smash ult the way it is for a reason and for another reason they stated humanity's favorite electronic game a "mistake/accident/error" its like what are we looking for in here? when smash 6 drops r u going on a bounty hunt to find all the flaws and mistampers on the video game? at the end of the day, theyre just opinions. brawl is tripping, is bad, thats an opinion. smash 4 ehh thats an opinion.. wtf does "balanced" mean? since when has that ever meant a good thing for video games? I like when new official characters get their movesets and stats imported into Project M like King K. Rool and Banjo and seeing how much more combo freedom they have under Melee's engine than in Ultimate.

I do believe it to be disingenuous to compare some of melee's best clips to an average ultimate set. This is coming from a meleehead such as myself, having watched most of the sets containing those clips in full. If you are going to compare melee to ult, compare them either: -both games at their best -both games at their worst (this is the least genuine comparison of these 3, but still more genuine than what's in the video) -both games on average (this is probably the best one) If you want to convince an ult player to play melee, show them an average mango friendly that was on stream, don't cherry pick the best clips and then say their game is slow and boring what is effectively ult's puff ditto. Overall cool video tho. Edit: remove the acola sonix bit and just show leo tweek and this video is fine. The average ult set isn't acola sonix, there is aegis, snake, roy, among others that are much more interesting.
