I used to do this back in the 90s, this is a classic knot, nowadays not many are interested on this type of knot because it takes time. It's good to see this type of knot being used by some people, thanks for the video, it does bring me back some memories.

The critical part is getting the correct length, the tie should just touch the waistband. Below is too long and yours was way too short. It requires practice where to have the initial start length.
