It only takes a few minutes to check (reddit, forums, X, youtube, twitch, rest of the internet) how frustrated people are with this trial in particular. You lost, but don’t worry - just take a deep breath, exhale, and think again. It helps more often than you’d expect.

@@ratakor listen man, if you play a ranged class you don't get an opinion on the sekhema trials. They favour ranged classes way too much in the way that melee classes need to get up close and personal to kill enemies, which runs the risk of taking damage. If you want to complete the trials on higher levels you're basically limited to creating glass cannon builds and praying that you get good boons. The worst part is that even if you don't lose all your honour, dying kicks you out anyway. So what the hell is the point of the honour? Overall, its just rng. I've seen level 93 players with the most overleveled gear try the sekhema trials and still die because of some arbitrary nonsense that says they cant take this much damage. It's dumb.

Yeah, don't feel bad needing WAY more tries compared to almost everyone else. Especially Werewolf form is super difficult early game (1st map) but 2nd map can be dumb as well... Beowulf is almost as bad as Werewolf early game btw but that's just my opinion.

the boomerang dmg is so low that I got into this bad habit. obviously if you want to min max you should do it yeah I agree but at the time I did this run, the <1sec boomerang dmg was really negligible imo it's all about min maxing uptime of hardest hitting ability (by far), imo at least

The whole point of using the boomerang is to proc Alterattack of your other weapon. It isn’t meant to be used for dmg but you can if you want. Throwing it away from enemies is just to be a bit safer. It’s the fastest weapon in the game for proccing Alterattacks.

Because I hate fighting the pirate boss on the next biome. I don't know how to dodge his "I'm running at you while shooting with big splash aoe dmg" properly. This was my first victory on that difficulty and the pirate destroyed a few runs before...

you mean my loadout? nothing special, just less glass cannon more defensive stuff/sigils like 1 Aegis, 1 or 2 Relink and rest ATK and DMG Cap. Other than that a lot of wipes with these guys before we got it. I should have also switched something out for POTION sigil V, I tried it out they day after and they seem very strong with +5 blue potions lol

yes, 7 days ago it was pain in the anus, now it's a joke with better gear but the boss fight has still a lot of bugs 😵‍💫...

Maybe it's the difficulty setting, I do mine on "hard" // the third and last difficulty setting.

As i said in my last response, it depends on the section and i can't remember which sections exactly did what.

Ufff it's long time ago and really do not remember anymore how it worked, but afaik there are section where you can kill more and basically have more time then other sections. You gotta find out which.

Sorry that this is so late, but anyway: in 2018 there was a bug that allowed you to get the full survival bonus even if your run had deaths in it. That was fixed for this year, so now the run must be deathless if you want the full survival bonus. Every death costs you 675 points, up to a cap that depends on the section you're in.

Pretty easy, just stand in melee range :D the tricky part is knowing when to shift, if i remember correctly the combination between moira heal and his self sustain is enough for getting melee hits from the heavy's.
