That's why I was saying like something to free up my finances so I could make that mind shift much easier I know ai is allowing people to get ahead like they haven't before and u spoke of everyone making 40k plus at least so juts wondwring if it were u starting out what you'd do. Firstly, this information is too good to be free I feel like I'm stealing. Secondly, I may have missed this but how do we avoid promotional type emails? AND this is the main concern, how does the AI know what my reply is so it's trained on my replies not incoming emails?

Hahaha, it's a very cool one! 1) Add a filter at the start of the automation; this can be either 'if the subject incudes 'X' don't proceed OR you can add a chatgpt module to assess whether it perceives it to be spam based on pre-defined criteria 2) We tell it who you are by saying "'any email coming from X/Y email address is me" - it will know from the context

What's the big difference between Bolt and Cursor? Is one generally better than the other or are there specific use cases where to use one rather than the other?

Yo yo James! Bolt: Simple and quick for basic projects, good with Next.js, but less stable. Better for MVPs and prototypes. Cursor: More powerful and customisable, better file handling and debugging. Steeper learning curve but more capable for complex work. Pick Bolt for quick demos, Cursor for serious development.

@@Sagi56668the platform is free, but API can get expensive if you're using good models. The Gemini API is free and pretty good so you can definitely make valuable systems for clients for totally free with this and it's better than bolt new in my opinion

Just had a question - do you know of a way to scrape leads based on recent funding? So i.e., finding businesses with a recent influx of cash, and building Make automations based on that? If not funding, or in addition to - maybe there are other intent signals we could scrape as well?

Heyyy bro, amazing to gave you here! Yes, so I would setup an automation that triggers based on articles being published in location Y containing keyword X. The last one I built like this had a classifying agent that would analyse the article and make a decision whether it hit our criteria or not. From there, we can do anything like emailing them something unique or storing the information in a database. Whatever you want!

I haven't seen much about Make/automation and social listening and brand monitoring. You have an awesome video about competitor intelligence that I like. Not gonna lie... Most seems like really basic functionality that should already be there😝 like the time delay for more days, zapier already had that. Having one scenario start another as well.. And im still feeling i dont understand the Grid, cause it also does not sound really groundbreaking. But the giving it a document to create an app sounds pretty crazy!

I don't get fully the grid analogy, to be honest, for me that sounds just a lot like functions in programming - you dump variables into your premade function, it does its thing, and gives an output that you can pass to other functions. That is something really basic, that has been missing in Make, Zapier & co. for a long time. Really happy to see it implemented now, but I am also scratching my head, why it took so long. I really hope they implement proper testing methods together with it. It is a real pain that you always have to send new webhooks etc. or use a JASON to test something instead of having an easy way to say. - Run this again with exactly the same input.
