I’m mixed but I never knew my dads side of the family, so every single birthday or Christmas I would get hair straighteners or gadgets or they’d take me to get my hair relaxed. I’m really trying to embrace my natural hair but I have no idea what I’m doing. I can braid my daughters hair fine but mine?! been trying to find a protective style i can use safely, im a white girl with coily hair, but its so damaged and hard to manage now, so im thinking of wearing wigs over some kind of protective style until my hair grows out enough for me to cut the damage off Ive also got a skin condition on my scalp, would anyone recommend this or another method i could use?
