Hi, can I manipulate with Woodwork for Inventor, 3D models made in AutoCAD? Can I add fixtures, do nesting and CNC cutting?

Hello, after using the Design assistant, a big inconvenience happened to me. (I renamed one part of the assembly in DA) Since then, when I open this assembly in Inventor, all the references are lost, if I determine them again and show him where the referenced files are and save it, then when I open the assembly again, the references are missing again . I'm really desperate. Confused Any information on this problem would help me. Thanks for the tips, experience, knowledge on this issue.

I tried it, but first I had to specify libraries in Design-Copy tab. Now if I try to attach the smart hardware it shows an unexpected error. In details it says: "Document: Copy of Handle Hafele ...". How to tackle this?

Can you make a video on how to make your own hardware? You have a lot of "how to place hardware" videos but none go into detail about making your own hardware to work with this system.

Thank you! I have some knowledge of Inventor but it's limited to mechanical design. In the mechanical design software there are tools for strength and stress analysis such as shaft design or gear design etc. Are there similar tools for woodwork design to say assess whether if a load in applied in this area, e.g. how much certain points will bend or flex? For example will the cabinet centre warp after time if there's a heavy TV standing on it - then I can add some additional feet or wheels. or perhaps a door with a glass pane will hang nicely for this design but if I scale it up and the glass becomes heavier the program could indicate that there are structural problems that may need to be resolved. I assume that most woodworkers don't necessarily know how to do these types of calculations and as someone with a mechanical background I'm uncertain of the strength rating of different joint types or perhaps wood/composite type and grain directions etc.

Can anyone please Suggest how to create the Negative Shape / Geometry while making a hardware. Because there are no threads / tutorials for that.

Hi Igor, how do you make the corner of the edging chamfered, try the build structure command and the edge did'nt chamfer.
