This was outstanding, I will be going back to this video over and over again in order to really absorb the details. I particularly liked at the very end on how the swing finish helps one keep the balance.

Bro the bit is in the mouth and horses mkth is more sensituve than ours. You dont need so sharp bit, i ride on tgick french link, and to horse does whatever i want. By such strong bit youre numbing th mouth over time, so horse is going to need sharper and sharper one. Also why you are using drop nosebands, thay can rupture or break nasal bone! If the horse if comfortable with bit, he will not open his mouth anyway so take that off!

That was incredible. I recognize a lot of his philosophy in many modern trainers. Love the Dorrance brothers, Ray Hunt, etc.

John 3:16 KJV 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 The Resurrection of Christ 15 Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. 2 By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain. 3 For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance[a]: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures

Kool stuff. Nice looking horse. Wonder what breed it was. What was he a doctor of? How many doctors would put themselves in that predicament? He knows his stuff for sure. I'll bet all horses wouldn't put up with that though. Good minded animal. I have just one problem with his technique though, I'm white and I can't jump.

He's exceptionally dangerous and shouldn't be teaching lay people this. Leave colt starting to the professionals who make a living doing it.

This is fantastic, thank you. Is there any way of knowing the age after 20? Is there a marker for 25? then maybe 30?

I love when he admits he made a mistake and explains what that was. That just doesn't happen these days. Not even with the current horse whisperers. That gives me more respect when a trainer can admit a mistake and explain it.

How do you get so much height with the ball? In professional games, all the pros hit it way over everybody’s head during penalty shots.

So mechanical and no thought to the nature of the horse. You need two reins if you don't understand how a horse thinks. But if you know how to get on well, you can ride in a rope halter and get excellent results. The horse will relax and turn, stop, and backup with very light rein signals. We humans are so predatory in our thinking, and so we want to overcontrol the situation. Not necessary folks.
