Nice job. I have an F150 as well and it is very time consuming to get a good outcome like this. I've been using spray ceramic but I think I'm going to bite the bullet and use a standard ceramic/graphene coating.
@CameronRDavis4 ай бұрын
Hey, Mike! Yeah man, a quality coating is worth it. I used PDP’s on this truck (10h Graphene, 50ml). About $130 a pop. I also recommend GYEON MOHs. Super easy application and is silky smooth to the touch which I personally really like.

How’d you polish inside the f150 print on the tailgate?
@CameronRDavis5 ай бұрын
I didn’t go too crazy with that since it was a new truck. I just pushed a little harder on the pad and gave it more of a polish/clean than a paint correction since there weren’t scratches on it. Otherwise I would just use the flex mini polisher with 1 inch pads

First I found a roommate on a roommate finder website (there’s a bunch) who was in similar price range to split a 2bed/2bath. Did a couple phone calls with him to make sure we were compatible. Then I figured out the exact area I wanted to live in, searched through Zillow, apartments.com, and Miami realty websites and eventually narrowed down to two places. Had several phone calls with each place, looked at reviews, and did everything I could to make sure I was comfortable with the place. I did pretty much all of that myself, which was a bit frustrating so I’d try to find someone who is willing to put effort into the search and close with you. Then once we agreed on a place I worked with the building to get all of my documentation submitted online and we moved in two weeks later. I would definitely recommend doing serious research to figure out where you want to be in a city. You might think something is in a great location, but it might be just far enough where it doesn’t make sense. I’d join groups in that city and just ask people for a radius of where to look. Hope this was somewhat helpful!
@plainvanillaguy7 ай бұрын
@@CameronRDavis Thank you! Yes it was very helpful! Amazing that you were able to do it all remotely. Did you have to show proof of income? I was thinking about trying to look for a job from out of state and then if I find one, use my offer letter as proof of income. The place looks so good, like no one had ever lived there before you walked into it.

Sorry to bombard you with questions, just was wondering why you decided to wax it alone vs coating it then waxing it to give it the long duration protection of the coating plus durability of the coating but get the warm gloss of the wax? Also thinking this car could of greatly benefited from a trim and glass ceramic coating in some places

Do you prefer to agitate the iron remover or just spray and let it dwell? You kinda just only showed a quick glimpse of that part so I'm just wondering what your process is like there? You definitely do a damn good job on these paint correction jobs!!! One other question also is what type of lights do you like to use during your identifying stages to bring out the swirls and imperfections and make them easier to see? I'm currently going to be buying my first swirl finding specific light and am wondering if it makes a big difference to buy one of those expensive ones made for detailers and finding swirls vs just your everyday run of the mill bright led?
@CameronRDavis Жыл бұрын
I like to agitate iron remover with a wash mitt. Never let iron remover dry on the paint. I use handheld scangrip and their headlamp. It’s worth the money if you are serious about results

Quick question how do you like the McKees rinseless? I've been trying different types of waterless and rinseless washing processes and mckees being local to me I really want to try them plus it seems everyone agrees they make a damn good product!!! Have you tried it against diy's rinseless yet? Also one last but pretty important question about the mckees, does it leave a film when it dries on the car if you for example miss some while drying?
@CameronRDavis Жыл бұрын
I don’t recommend rinse less washing at all. I’m sure the product is great, but if you’re going to get your car wet you might as well just wash it normally
