Well, these whales are good fellas and this is surely one of the greatest experiences it is possible to have. Those underwater stairs were interesting.

Is the water that cold ? Its insane to see a whale the size of a van just going towards you :) Or when they pass they are always looking at you it seems. Such a majestic feeling

The water is about 22 degrees, so not super warm. We are in a special little zone further south, so a little cooler than your classic Tongan vibe. But the whales, are incredibly curious where we go, so its always worth it. It is an incredible experience having something so large come towards you, but they are such passive, gentle and so aware. Just awe inspiring to be in the water with . .

I’d love to join your next trip to this gorgeous heavenly place! I’ve read a bit about warnings to not travel to Antarctica because the emissions and foot print left after traveling there are great. I really would love to go though, is this a way to travel there more sustainably?
