I just visited the International Cryptozoology Museum today and spotted the lantern among the items detailing the Flat woods Monster. I just assumed that it was a one-of-a-kind item made by an artist named Braxton, but when I googled it, I was shocked to learn that not only can it still be purchased but that it's become a kitschy icon. I want one so badly now.

Love the documentary! Just stopped by the museum a few weeks ago on our trip through west Virginia and it was honestly one of our favorite stops. I love how unique it is compared to so many other monsters and the red and green are such a cool look. Would love to come back next time we're stopping through. Nice work on the documentary Andrew!

I also wonder what muggles thought when they saw this episode. Did they wonder where it came from or did they just go, “oh, a monster, cool, next”...?
