I love Romesh and I have a broad sense of humour but we don’t need more invalidation of women’s pain. I’ve had calf cramps that have scared me out of labour. Your sh*t does not even touch the sides and how dare you think it would. As my mother (of 4!) says, “they don’t call it Labour for nothing!” And as far as the afterbirth goes, that is life threatening. After she’s given you children. Maybe expand your imagination and empathy and honour her strength, power, and everything she’s gone through rather than normalising dismissing the female plight. I really want to thank you Romesh. I have just watched the misadventures of Romesh and you were in Uganda. For a straight man to defend LGBTQI rights is really humbling. I feel some presenters would mention it and defend everyone's view and be impartial. You said the truth though that it is a core identity and it is not something people can change. Majority of gay people know from a very young age they feel different and by teen years you just know you are gay or bi its just a matter of time to accept. I just caught my wife allowing this man into my living room, have you noticed lately the apologies issued before broadcasting programs with "outdated attitudes"? Why when its against white people regarding the "benefits" of slavery that we apparently enjoyed, why is an outdated view warning not displayed? Britons were poorer due to slavery, who were of course victims of slavery for millennia themselves and the actual benefit was at most 2% of the country's wealth, which trust me, 99.9% of the british people never saw or have seen,you state your parents moved to my once beautiful country as its economy was so much better and that its wealth was built on slavery, as you believe that to be true you are benefitting yourself from slavery are you not?
